QED Environmental Systems, a major global supplier of air-powered submersible pumping systems, has now acquired Environmental Pump Solutions (EPS), a manufacturer based in Pennsylvania. This integration has enabled QED to offer a range of high-end electric pump solutions complementing its renowned product line of AutoPump® which are air-powered submersible pumps. EPS specializes in electric submersible pump systems which have major applications in oil and gas, landfill & mining, municipal work, marine and construction among others.
The crucial policy decision will help QED to capitalize on EPS' splendid branding for delivering high end products and enhanced customer service. QED has already increased its inventory levels along with strengthening customer support across the U.S. to gain a stronghold in the market.
EPS operations have been relocated to QED's Dexter located in Michigan facility. Furthermore, EPS employees will remain with QED to take active part in the business. As per QED the takeover will help the company in make a competitive edge over others in landfill pumping & remediation pumping for current as well as prospective clients.
