The company had started manufacturing eco-friendly equipment for interrupting electric current in the modern day vacuum cleaners. Beside carrying electric current in the commercial and household vacuum cleaners these product do not require insulation gas. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, today is a prominent manufacturer in countries such as Japan. The company today secures seventh position globally, on a yearly basis.
Apart from this the historic production the 4th millionth eco - friendly, vacuum interrupter was made possible at the famous “Mitsubishi Electric’s Power Distribution Systems Center”, which is located in Marugame-city. The factory has been handling the production of eco-friendly devices since 1990. The vacuum interrupters can be installed in the circuit breakers as a major component for both interrupting as well as carrying the electric current. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation install nearly 80% of the vacuum interrupters in the circuit breakers, while 20% is sold as separate components.
