Early this month JCB has unveiled its latest compact 525 -60 telescopic hander to its popular Hi-Viz range. The new model comes with an optimum lift height of 6.1 m and a load power of 2,494 kg. Furthermore, the telehandler of this make is just 1.8 m and is nearly 1.9 m tall. Despite, these specifications may not look impressive to many the multi-mode 4 – wheel steering of compact 525-60 would prove them wrong by helping users access multi-story vehicle parks and allows operation in difficult site conditions.
Additionally, the JCB 525-60 has rapidly replaced the earlier 520-50,524-50 and 527-55 rear engine make, with cutting edge side –engine mount prototype. This ensures a squatty boom pivot level for optimum stability as well as visibility to the telescopic handler’s rear and even across its boom. Besides, when the boom tilts down to the front of the handler, it offers the operator a paramount visibility to clearly view the front wheels along with the forks.
Focussing on the operator comfort the 525-60 makes the most from its spacious cab coupled with a soporific glazing throughout which further makes it convenient to change the windows if damaged and minimizes the ownership cost for the buyer.
