The fourth international exhibition for the sheet-metal working industry named BLECH Russia 2015, was held in St Petersburg in March this year. The main focus of the event was new technology in sheet-metal machinery. Companies from eleven countries, including China, Austria, Switzerland and Spain showcased their products at the ExpoForum Convention Centre. The show was co-located with the Fastener Fair Russia and organised by Restec Brooks. The event was dedicated to dedicated to the fastener and fixing market.
There were 7,000 trade visitors present in the event. There were many global manufacturers which were present in the event. These manufacturers have been supplying metal fabrication tools to the metal working industry for over many decades. Their product offerings are advanced fabricating and sheet metal machinery which includes, guillotine shears, precision press brakes, steelworkers, bending rolls and folders, plasma cutting systems. Special highlights included a presentation from FinJet, Finnish company, supplier of water jet systems and technologies, which exhibited innovative solutions for cutting metal parts with uneven and irregular challenging surfaces.
